I was born in Nelson in 1973 where I spent my early childhood enjoying the sun, beaches and lifestyle that is offered by this beautiful part of New Zealand. At age ten I moved to Southland of which I have fond memories. I moved to Wellington in 1985 where I lived and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the Capital until just recently when the opportunity arose to return to Nelson. The call of the sun, beaches and lifestyle came to the fore and I am now based in the Tasman District, which is a stunning part of New Zealand.

I found my passion and calling of oil painting later on in my life. As a fourth generation New Zealander my art tends to have a New Zealand focus enhanced by my love of colour and detail that inspires my style of painting.

I am a member of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts where I have exhibited and sold paintings. I undertake commission work and also sell my art privately in New Zealand and overseas to people and corporate companies who discover my work through this website, exhibitions or word of mouth. I also belong to Art @ 203 which is a gallery located at 203 Trafalgar Street, Nelson. I always have art exhibited at this gallery. Prints are available at selected retailers.
